At Siloam Brakpan, we believe that serving is one of the greatest expressions of love and faith. When we volunteer, we don’t just fill a need — we become part of what God is doing in and through His church. Every act of service, no matter how small, helps build God’s Kingdom and makes a lasting impact in the lives of others.
The Bible reminds us that “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms” (1 Peter 4:10). God has placed unique gifts and abilities inside every person, and when we bring those gifts together in service, the church becomes stronger and more effective in reaching the world.
Volunteering at Siloam is not just about doing tasks — it’s about building relationships, growing spiritually, and discovering purpose. Whether it’s serving in hospitality, media, worship, kids’ ministry, outreach, or any other area, your contribution helps create an atmosphere where people can encounter the presence and love of God.
Jesus Himself said, “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many”(Matthew 20:28). As followers of Christ, we are called to serve with the same heart — with humility, joy, and excellence.
Becoming part of the volunteer team is also a great way to connect with others and grow deeper in your walk with God. You’ll find community, develop your gifts, and experience the fulfillment that comes from making a difference in the lives of others.
If you’d like to get involved, we invite you to join our volunteer team. There’s a place for everyone — and together, we can continue to build a church that reflects the love, generosity, and heart of Jesus.
