At Siloam, we believe that salvation is the greatest gift God has given to humanity — the gift of new life through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that “God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Salvation is not something we earn by our good works; it is a gift of grace received through faith.

From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to restore relationship with His people. Because of sin, humanity was separated from God (Romans 3:23), but through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, that separation was removed. “God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

When we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we are forgiven, made new, and given the promise of eternal life. The Bible assures us, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

Salvation is the beginning of a transformed life — a journey of faith, hope, and purpose. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we grow daily in our relationship with God and become witnesses of His love to the world.

If you’ve never made that decision, know that God’s arms are open wide to you. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13). Today can be the start of your new life in Christ.
